PATRICIA "TRICIA" BOWEN died February 17, 2012 at Mercy Regional Health Center College
Ave, Manhattan, KS at the age of 79. Tricia was born on June 29, 1932
in Clay Center Kansas, the daughter of Elmer and Ethel (Baker) Munson.
Tricia attended school at Bunker Hill School and graduated from CCCHS. She was a
University of Kansas Alumnist and recieved a Masters Degree from Pittsburg State University.
She volunteered at Plaza Resolana in Santa Fe, NM and taught nursing at Amarillo C.C., San Mateo
C.C. and AVTS in Kansas City. She also wrote articles for the Clay Center Dispatch. She was an
American Red Cross volunteer, member of Habitat for Humanity, Nature Conservancy, First
Presbyterian Church and the National Presbyterian Mariners. She is preceded by a son
Douglas.

Brother: Robert Munson, Tupelo, MS
Brother: Gene and wife Mildred Munson, Berwyn Heights, MD
3 Grandsons, Jason, Dallas and Kendall
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 10:30 AM at the First Presbyterian
Church in Clay Center, Kansas.
Officiating the service will be Rev. James Byers.
Burial will be at the Parallel Cemetery, Washington County, Kansas.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 20 from 3-8pm at the funeral home.
Memorials can be made to American Red Cross or the First Presbyterian Church Women's
Circle.
