PAUL D. BRONSON, JR. died October 18, 2013 at Park Villa Nursing Home, Clyde, KS
at the age of 92. PAUL D. BRONSON, JR. was born on December 28, 1920 in Minneapolis,
Kansas the son of Paul D. Bronson, Sr and Elizabeth Washburn.
Paul was raised in the Culver and Minneapolis communities. He graduated from
Minneapolis High School. Paul Served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. Following the
war, he married Shirley Turner and he served as the Ottawa County Sheriff. He returned to
service in the US Air Force during the Viet Nam war, as a aircraft and missile maintenance
technician, retiring in 1975. Paul then worked for El Dorado Trailer in Minneapolis, Hutchinson
Mayrath in Clay Center and the Miltonvale Lumber Yard. He was a member of the Lions Club
and Masonic Lodge, both of Minneapolis and the Clay Center American Legion. Paul is
preceded in death by 4 brothers and 1 sister

Wife: Shirley Bronson, Miltonvale, KS
Son: Dana and wife Sherie Bronson, Abilene, KS
Daughter: Karla Nelson, Manhattan, KS
Sister: Norma Baker, Minneapolis, KS
Sister: Phyllis Good, Napa, CA
7 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 1:30 PM at the F.C. Hill
Memorial Wesleyan Church in Miltonvale, Kansas.
Officiating the service will be Rev Mark Surbrook.
Burial will be at the Miltonvale Cemetery, Miltonvale, Kansas.
Visitation will be held on 5-7 PM Tuesday at the Phelps Funeral Home
