Paul Reed

Paul Richard Reed, 89 died May 10, 2016 at in Clay Center, KS. He was born on December 9, 1926 in Clay Center, KS, the son of George Reed and Ida Miller. Paul graduated from Wakefield High School in 1945. He served in the US Army during WWII. Paul married Marian Schuette on July 18, 1950. He worked for Swift Co., Kidwell Oil Co. and Farmers CO-OP until he retired in 1991. Marian preceded him in death on May 25, 1986. Paul was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the American Legion, both of Clay Center. He was also preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, 3 sisters and a great-granddaughter Survivors: Daughter: Paula Reed, of Clay Center, KS Son: Jon Reed, of Clay Center, KS Son: Brad Reed, of Clay Center, KS 8 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren and one Great-great-granddaughter Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 1:30 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clay Center, KS Officiating the service will be Pastor Paul Tessaro Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, KS Visitation will be held on Friday, May 13, 2016 from 3-8 PM at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home Memorials: Meadowlark Hospice of Medicalodge
