PEGGY BLACK died January 25, 2012 at Sandpiper Bay Nursing Home, Wichita, KS at the age of 79. Peggy was born on December 13, 1932 in Clifton Kansas, the daughter of Floyd and Emily (True) Morgison. Peggy was raised in the Clifton area and graduated from Clifton High School. She married Dean Black on March 15, 1957. They farmed in the Clifton area and owned and operated the Big T Cafe for 19 years. She then worked at Community Care Nursing Home in Clifton and at Tailgaters Restaurant in Vining. Dean preceded her in death on April 16, 2007. Peggy was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Clifton. Survivors include: Son: Lonnie and wife Susan Black, Minneapolis, KS Son: Jeff and wife Karma Black, Abilene, KS Daughter: Debbie Flower, Topeka, KS Daughter: Theresa and husband Bill Starr, Wichita, KS Sister: Onita Hauserman, Wichita, KS Sister: Phyllis Kalivoda, Clay Center, KS Brother: Floyd Morgison, Jr., Perry, KS Brother: Gary Morgison, Clay Center, KS Sister: Mary Ann Palmer, Phoenix, AZ Grandchildren: 10 Grand and 8 Great-grand Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Faith United Church Presbyterian in Clifton, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor FrankLyn Schroeder. Burial will be at the Pleasant View Cemetery, Vining, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 5-7 PM Friday at Turner Funeral Home. Memorials can be made to Heartland Hospice or Clifton Ambulance fund.
