PEGGY IRENE WOLF died December 24, 2008 at Presbyterian Manor, Clay Center, KS at the age of 86. PEGGY IRENE WOLF was born on October 19, 1922 in Clay County Kansas, the daughter of Herman H. Mellies and Bessie Mae Gennett. Peggy lived in Morganville all her life and graduated from Morganville High School in 1940. She was an Avon Sales Rep. for many years. She married Charles A. Wolf on December 14, 1940 and he preceded her on March 18, 1998. She is also preceded by a daughter, Janice in 1947 and a brother. Survivors include: Daughter: Charlotte Sorell, Morganville, KS Grandchildren: 4 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at 10:30 AM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Gary Oetinger. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 29 from 3-8pm at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to Clay Center Presbyterian Manor Good Samaritan Fund or the Clay County Home Health Agency.
