Pera Bauer

Pera Bauer, a resident of Austin, Texas, passed away on May 27, 2015. She was 24. Pera was a kind, loving and energetic daughter, sister, cousin aunt and friend. She is survived by her family: mother Judy Leiszler and father Brian Bauer(Clay Center, Kansas; siblings Bridget Bauer (Austin, Texas), Adam and Thao Vo Bauer (Brooklyn, New York);Luke and Brett Bauer (Paola, Kansas), John Bauer (Austin, Texas), and Brad Bauer. She was especially proud to be "Aunt P" to Miles, Pera K. and Susana. Pera was preceded in death by grandparents Glen and Rose Leiszler, Mina and Gail Bauer, and uncles George Leiszler and Dan Bauer. Pera was born July 10, 1990 and raised in Clay Center, Kansas, where she graduated from Clay Center Community High School. After graduating from the Aveda Institute in Houston, Texas she moved to Austin to build her career as a hairstylist, make-up artist, and beauty consultant. Pera's career thrived as she built an impressive list of clientele all over the country. She worked with celebrities and families alike. It's easy to say that everyone who knew Pera loved her. She was a sweet spirit who knew no strangers. She was generous with her time, talents and energy. Pera grew up the youngest of six children, and she easily found dozens of "adopted brothers and sisters" during her time in Austin. She was pure light and love, and she is terribly missed by people around the world. Respect calls will be held 4-7PM Sunday May 31, 2015 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with rosary at 7 PM A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, June 1, 2015 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church A celebration of life will be held in Austin on her birthday, July 10, 2015. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to "Pera Bauer Memorial" to benefit a cause determined by the family at a later date. The family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of condolences and love during this difficult time.
