Phillip "Phil" Brenner

Phillip “Phil” Brenner, age 71, died at Valley View Senior Life in Junction City, on August 23, 2023.  He was born December 03, 1951, in Clay Center, to Donald and Eleanor (Blomberg) Brenner.  Phil was a graduate of Clay Center Community High School. After high school he played football for Hutchinson Jr. College and Emporia. Phil later returned to the Clay Center area and owned Brenner Sheet metal, he then worked as a plumber and for Rundle Monuments setting headstones for a few years. Phil had a passion for cars and loved to play softball.  He was a former member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Phil is preceded in death by his parents.

Nephew: Adam Brenner of Manhattan, KS

Niece: Amy and husband Marc Szablewski of Lenexa, KS

Great niece and nephew: Henry and Maxine Szablewski
