Phyllis Jackson

PHYLLIS M. JACKSON died October 6, 2011 at Bryan LGH Medical center East, Lincoln, NE at the age of 79. She was born on March 1, 1932 in Miltonvale Kansas, the daughter of Emery and Neva (Geist) Francis. She attended schools in Miltonvale. She married Max Jackson on July 24, 1948 in Salina, KS and he survives of the home. She operated a daycare for 47 years and loved to Garden. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Clyde and taught Sunday School. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and American Legion Auxiliary. She is preceded by a son, Ronald, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include: Husband: Max Jackson, Clifton, KS Son: Randy and wife Marly Jackson, Clifton, KS Son: Dennis and wife Deanne Jackson, Clifton, KS Son: Doug and wife Dawn Jackson, Belleville, KS Brother: Max Francis, WV Brother: Rex Francis, Genesso, KS Sister: Betty Rhodes, Clifton, KS 13 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the First Christian Church in Clyde Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Fred Applegarth and Pastor Larry Sullivan. Burial will be at the Pleasant View Cemetery, Vining, Kansas.
