RACHEL LEE RIFE died December 4, 2008 at 216 Johnson, Morganville, KS at the age of 82. She was born on June 27, 1926 in Clifton Kansas, the daughter of William and Helen (Reed) Schwab. She attended Sherman country school, 2 years at Morganville High School and graduated from Clay Center High School in 1945. She married Edward Rife on July 18, 1955, he survives of the home. She is preceded in death by her father and a sister. Survivors include: Husband: Edward Rife, Morganville, KS Daughter: Paula Kay and husband Nick Spears, Pineville, MO Daughter: Helen Marie and husband Joe Holenbeck, Alma, KS Son: Steven and wife Cheryl Rife, Inman, KS Mother: Helen Schwab, Clyde, KS Sister: Muriel Jacobson, Clifton, KS Brother: Billy and wife Eva Schwab, Clifton, KS Brother: Lafe and wife Vivian Schwab, Morganville, KS Grandchildren: 5 Grand and 7 Great-grand Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at 10:00 Am at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Gale Lund. Burial will be at the Morganville Cemetery, Morganville, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 3-8 PM Monday at the funeral home Memorials can be made to Salvation Army c/o the funeral home
