Ray Gebhardt

RAY GEBHARDT, 86 died April 13, 2009 at the Clay County Medical Center, Clay Center, KS. He was born on July 22, 1922 in Clay Center, Kansas the son of Wallace and Frances (Shepard) Gebhardt. He was born and raised in Clay Center. He joined the US Coast Guard after graduating from high school. He worked for the Boilermaker's Union in Louisiana until he retired. Ray returned to Clay Center in 1990. He is preceded in death dy a daughter, Jolene, a brother Vernon, 2 sisters Edna and Evelyn and his parents. Survivors: Daughter: Carlene Taylor, Abilene, KS Daughter: Goldie Ann Brubaker, Hutchinson, KS Grandchildren: 8 Grand and 8 Great-grand Many nieces and nephews Funeral Services: Private services will be held at a later date Burial:Pleasant View Cemetery, Vining, KS.
