Richard Jacob Boman died October 10, 2008 at his residence at the age of 86. Richard was born on August 5, 1922 in Belpre, Kansas the son of Ross Boman and Hildagard Gales.
He grew up in Garfield, KS and graduated from Garfield High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII aboard the USS Baltimore. He married Ruth Louise McDonald on May 21, 1948 and she survives. He was a feed mill manager at the COOP for 36 years. He was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded by two brothers and a sister.

Brother: Warren and wife, Ann Boman, Hutchinson, KS
Grandchildren: Five Grand and Ten Great Grand
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 10:30 AM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center.
Officiating the service will be Father Larry Grennan.
Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13, 2008 from 3-8 PM at the funeral home.
