Robert Henry Holsted

ROBERT BOB HOLSTED died September 29, 2008 at Mercy Health Center College Ave, Manhattan, KS at the age of 77. He was born on September 22, 1931 in Morganvill, Kansas the son of Henry James Halsted and Nellie Mae Lashley. Bob was raised in Morganville, Kansas. He worked for W.W. Smith. He worked for Skinner Motor Co. from 1951 until present. He served in the National guard for 12 years. He is preceded in death by 2 sisters. Survivors include: Son: Steven Holsted, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Shana Holsted, Manhattan, KS Daughter: Cheryl Easterberg, Newton, KS Brother: Meryl Holsred, Liberal, KS Grandchildren: 3 Grand & 4 Great-grand Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Ron Walker. Visitation will be held on 3-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home Memorials can be made to Riley County Home Care/Riley Co. Hospice c/o the funeral home
