Robert E. Tripp

Robert E. Tripp, 70, died October, 30, 2010 at his residence in Ventura, CA. He was born November 18, 1939 to Henry and Vivian (Bouden) Tripp. He attended Clay Center schools, graduating from CCCHS in 1957. He joined the U.S. Navy after high school serving on the USS Coral Sea. He married Shirley Shaver on July 3, 1959 at Golden, CO. He worked for the El Rio School District in Ventura for 38 years. Robert is survived by his sons, Stephen and wife, Corrina Tripp and Robert E., Jr. and his wife, Tammy Tripp; four granddaughters, one great grandson all of California; three sisters, Marie, and husband Bud Bolejack of Topeka, Jean Woolley and Henrietta Mounts, both of Clay Center; and one brother, Henry Tripp and wife Louise, of LaVerne, CA.; aunt, Rachel Brown, of Wakefield, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorial services with inurnment at Greenwood Cemetery in Clay Center will be announced at a later date.
