RODNEY DAMMAN, 69 died July 27, 2014 in Stilwell, Kansas . He was born on September 14, 1944 in Concordia, Kansas. The son of George and Grace (Anderson) Damman. Rodney attended Spring Creek Elementary school and graduated from Clifton High School. He attended Ft. Hays State University and Oklahoma State University. Rodney married Dorothy Rau on December 2, 1966 and she survives. He worked as a restaurant chef and manager, manager and salesman of medical insurance and was a truck driver for 17 years. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Palmer. He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Thurl, Bruce and Ralph Survivors: Wife: Dorothy Damman, Lincoln, NE Son: Van and wife Lynette Koon, Colby, KS Son: Chad Damman, Omaha, NE Son: Terry and wife Debbie Damman, Lincoln, NE Daughter: Shea and husband Marlon Sanchez, Denver, CO Step-daughter: Brenda Airsman, Lincoln, NE Step-daughter: Pam Nutt, El Cajon, CA Step-daughter: Deb Moreno, Lincoln, NE Sister: Melva and husband Lloyd Anderson, Stillwell, KS Sister: Nella Melone, Akeeny, IA Sister Veryl Tiemeyer, Clifton, KS Brother: Ronald and wife Verla Damman, Grant City, MO Brother: Daryl and wife Jeannet Damman, Georgetown, TX Brother: Thale and wife Sue Damman, Carefree, AZ 12 Grandchildren and 4 Great-grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Palmer, KS. Officiating the service will be Pastor Tom Sahl. Burial will be in the St Paul Lutheran Cemtery, Palmer, KS. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2014 from 1:00 PM until service time at St Paul Lutheran Church. Memorials may be made to the church and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
