ROLAND "CARL" CLARK died August 18, 2009 at His residence in Clay Center at the age of 59. He was born on May 16, 1950 in Florence, SC the son of William Clark and Edith
Kennedy. He was raised in Charleston, SC. He served two tours in Viet Nam with the US
Army. Following his service in the army Roland attended truck driving school. He drove a truck
for over 15 years including 3 years at TSI in Clay Cetner, KS. He married Caroline Walker in
1983. She preceded him in death in 2006. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Clay
Center. He is also preceded by his father and a sister, Donna Tyrell.

Brother: Bobbie and wife Jean Clark, Summerville, SC
Sister: Peggy Bracknell, Gulfport, MS
Grandchildren: 5 Grand, 3 Step-grand & 3 Step-Great-Grand
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 1:30 PM at the
Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas.
Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas.
Visitation will be held on 3-8 PM Friday at the funeral home. The family will greet friends from
5-6PM
