Rollin Newell

ROLLIN M. NEWELL, 77 died November 28, 2014 at Clay County Medical Center in Clay Center, KS. He was born on September 25, 1937 in Clay County, KS. The son of E.L. and Catherine (Hammel) Newell. Rollin was raised in the Clifton Community and graduated from Clifton High School in 1955. He married Ilene Kahrs on March 3, 1957, she survives of the home. They farmed in the Clifton Community. He enjoyed playing cards, his guitar and camping. He is preceded by his parents and one brother. Survivors: Wife: Ilene Newell, Clay Center, KS Son: Roger Newellm Clifton, KS Son: Larry Newell and Companion Tammy, Clifton, KS Son: Arlan Newell and Companioin Jenny, Newton, KS Brother: Gerald and wife Barbara Newell, Minneapolis, KS Brother: Leroy and wife Roberta Newell, Clifton, KS Sister: Dixie and husband Gary Senters, Clifton, KS Many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 2 at 10:30am at the Faith United Church Presbyterian in Clifton, KS Officiating the service will be Pastor FrankLyn Schroeder Burial will be in the Sherman Cemetery, Clay County, KS Visitation will be held on Monday, December 1 from 3-8pm with family greeting friends from 4-7 at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home in Clay Center. In lieu of flowers memorials contribution for Clay Center Public Utilities Zoo Fund, Green Community Café and the Clifton Baseball Association c/o funeral home.
