Ronald D. Hedberg, 85 died October 28, 2018 at Medicalodge in Clay Center, KS. He was born on March 21, 1933 in Clifton, KS, the son of Algot and Cordelia (Hill) Hedberg. Ronald was raised in the Clifton community and graduated from Clifton High School. He joined the US Army and served in the Korean War. Ronald married Mary Ilene Cranmer on March 31, 1956. They made their home in Clay Center. Ronald worked at the CO-OP service station and later for Clay Center Public Utilities. Following his retirement, he drove a school bus for USD 379 and the General Transportation bus. Mary preceded him in death on March 13, 2006. Ronald was a member of the American Legion, BPOE and the Eagles Lodge. He was also preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
