RONALD HITSMAN, 91 died November 30, 2014 at his residence in Clay Center, KS. He was born on April 7, 1923 in Beloit, KS. The son of Vern and Mary (Mosburg) Hitsman.
Ronald was raised in Clay Center. He served in the US Army 87th Field Artillery during WWII. Ronald married Emily Harper and she preceded him in death. He worked at the Topeka State Hospital as the power plant supervisor. Ronald returned to Clay Center in the 1970's where he owned and operated Hitsman Salvage and Hitsman Used Cars. He was a member of the Eagles and Kansas Republican Party. He was also preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Dale and Eddie, 2 brothers, Dalbert and Donald, and 3 sisters, June Crowl, Thelma Chitwood and Maxine Baldwin.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery in Clay Center, KS
