Ronnie Roberts

RONNIE MARIE ROBERTS died May 13, 2013 at Medicalodge, Clay Center, KS at the age of 74. She was born on February 23, 1939 in Clay County Kansas, the daughter of Raymond Thurlow and Zella Davis. Ronnie was raised in the Wakefield community and graduated from Wakefield High School in 1957. She married Stanley Roberts on Janyuary 1, 1957. Ronnie was a devoted farmwife for more than 40 years. They later divorced. She worked as a CNA at the Presbyterian Manor and for Home Health, both of Clay Center. Ronnie moved to Clay Center in 2005. Ronnie was a member of the Clay Center United Methodist Church and the Friendship Club. She is preceded in death by a son, Charles, brothers, W. Von Dale Thurlow and D. Jack Thurlow, and son-in-law Dave Trumble Survivors include: Daughter: Joyce Trumble, Green, KS Son: Gregory and wife Susan Roberts, Pullman, WA Son: Jeff Roberts, Onaga, KS Sister: Mary Ann Bergmeier, Clay Center, KS Grandchildren: Travis and wife, Stacy Charbonneau, Trevor Charbonneau, Tanna Charbonneau,Samantha Roberts, Jake Roberts, Chad Roberts and Shane Roberts Step-Grandchildren: Grady and wife, Amy Trumble and Jesse Trumble Great-grandchildren: Taybon, Blaize, Tucker and Tymber Charbonneau Step-Great grandchildren: Victoria and Harper Trumble Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the Greenwood Cemetery in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Larry Myers. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 3-8 PM Thursday, May 16, 2013 at the funeral home Memorials can be made to Schaubel Cemetery Association c/o the funeral home
