Rosemary Gonser

ROSEMARY GONSER died April 27, 2011 at Clay County Medical Center, Clay Center, KS at the age of 65. She was born on December 28, 1945 in Clay Center Kansas, the daughter of Roy and Helen (Rock) Cowing. Rosemary was born and raised in Clay Center and graduated from CCCHS. She married Bruce Gonser on October 20, 1963, he survives of the home. Rosemary worked as a nursing home administrator for 33 years and was currently employed at Pinnacle Park in Salina. She was a member of the Christian Church in Clay Center. Rosemary is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Brian. Survivors include: Husband: Bruce Gonser, Clay Center, KS Son: Kelly and wife Dianne Gonser, Leavenworth, KS Daughter: Michelle and husband John Strome, Manhattan, KS Brother: Denis Southerland, Gainsville , TX Grandchildren: 5 Grandchildren Step-Sister: Valerie Thatcher, Green, KS Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 2, 2011 at 10:30 AM at the First Presbyterian Church, 602 Clarke St. in Clay Center, Kansas . Officiating the service will be Pastor Doug Wallace. Burial will be at the Idana Cemetery, Idana, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 2-5 PM Sunday at the funeral home, 918 7th St. Clay Center Memorials can be made to Rosemary Gonser Memorial Fund to be designated later
