Roy Cowing

ROY C. COWING, 79 died July 8, 2007 at the Clay County Medical Center, Clay Center, KS. He was born May 23, 1928 in Clay Center, KS, the son of Samuel and Florence (Ingrum) Cowing. Roy has lived in Clay Center all of his life. He served in the Army Air Corp during WWII as an MP. He married Helen Southerland on October 3, 1962. He worked for Hankhammer Ready Mix, Hutchinson Royal Manufacturing and owned and operated South Side Tavern for 13 years. Helen preceded him in death on January 23, 2004. He is also preceded by a son and a sister.
