Roy Harold Taylor

ROY HAROLD TAYLOR, 85 died March 18, 2016 at Medicalodge in Clay Center, KS. He was born on May 12, 1930 in Clay Center, KS, the son of Harold and Millie (Reed) Taylor. Roy was raised in Clay Center. He graduated from CCCHS in 1949. Roy worked for Carl Hay Construction and L.M. Crawford Roofing. Roy married Betty Jean Farrow on May 17, 1955. Roy worked for the Clay County Highway Department for 14 years, retiring in 1996. He was a member of the American Legion and BPOE. He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Taylor, his parents, a brother,a granddaughter and Great-granddaughter. Survivors: Daughter: Deb and husband Mike Holladay, Clay Center, KS Son: Robert and wife Mary Taylor, Ellsworth, KS Son: Rodney and wife Tammy Taylor, Clay Center, KS Son: Roger and wife Linda Taylor, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Denise and husband Paul Kidwell, Clay Center, KS 15 Grandchildren, 25 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren Companion: Judy Hester and the Hester family, Clay Center, KS Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 10:30 AM at the Christian Church in Clay Center, KS Officiating the service will be Pastor Christian Hallberg Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, KS Visitation will be held on Monday, March 21, 2016 from 3-8 PM at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home Memorials: Meadowlark Hospice c/o the funeral home
