Ruby Griffiths

RUBY MARIE GRIFFITHS died June 30, 2012 at Presbyterian Manor, Clay Center, KS at the age of 93. She was born on July 6, 1918 in Clay County, Kansas the daughter of Irwin Charpie and Laura M. Swenson. Ruby was raised in the Sherman Township in Clay County, Kansas. She graduated from Clay County Community High School in 1937. She married Lyle P. Griffiths on September 1, 1940 and he preceded her in death on November 17, 2011. She and her husband farmed in Clay County moving to Clay Center in 1995. She was a member of the 1st Presbyterian Church of Clay Center. She was also preceded by a daughter Janice Adams in 1964. Survivors include: Son: Duane Griffiths, Grand Rapids, MI Brother: Warren Charpie, Clay Center, KS 5 grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 10:00AM at the Presbyterian Church in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Matthew Coleman. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. There will be no visitation Memorials can be made to Clay Center Presbyterian Church or Heart Ministries c/o the funeral home
