Russell L. Alexander

Russell L. Alexander died July 21, 2019 at the Clay County Medical Center in Clay Center, Kansas. Russell was born September 28, 1924 in the Goshen Township, Clay County, Kansas to Lewis J. and Maggie (Wachsnicht) Alexander. Russell attended Shaubel Grade School and graduated from Green Rural High School in 1943. He married Mary L. Barr on September 1, 1956 and she preceded him in death on December 18, 2018. Russell was a lifelong farmer and resident of Clay County. He served on the Hayes Township board for 24 years. Russell is also preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Roy and Harold and brother in-law, George Brooks.
