Ruth Boman

RUTH L. BOMAN died June 25, 2012 at Clay County Medical Center, Clay Center, KS at the age of 82. She was born on May 4, 1930 in Neodesha, KS the daughter of Earl McDonald and Ethel Fender. Ruth was raised in the Neodesha community. She married Richard Boman May 21, 1948 and he preceded her on October 10, 2008. They lived in Larned, KS before moving to Clay Center in 1960. She worked at Wardcraft and was a cook at Medicalodge and Presbyterian Manor. Survivors include: Daughter: Rose and husband Loyde Hager, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Roxana Boman, Abilene, KS Son: Richard Rick and wife Mary Boman, Clay Center, KS Sister: Mildred Bohannon, Larned, KS Brother: Louis and wife Sybil McDonald, Larned, KS Brother: Frank and wife Barbara McDonald, Neodesha, KS Brother: Orville McDonald, Neodesha, KS Grandchildren: 5 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 29, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Jeremy Pera. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 28 from 3-8pm at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to Ruth Boman Memorial Fund to be designated later.
