Ruth Depew

RUTH M. DEPEW, 80 died March 21, 2016 at her residence in Arkansas City, KS. She was born on August 28, 1935 in Greenleaf, KS. The daughter of LeRoy and Lurene (Spence) Neal. Ruth was raised in the Greenleaf Community. She graduated from Greenleaf High School in 1953 and made her home in Washington, KS until moving to Arkansas City, KS in 2013. She married Kenneth Depew on May 28, 1954 and he preceded her on February 21, 2013. She was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Washington, KS. Survivors: Daughter: Karen Buckner, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Francine Arpin, Blue Rapids, KS Daughter: Collen and husband Jerry Hardman, Arkansas City, KS Daughter: Rose Gebers, Washington, KS Son: Richard Depew and fiancé Velia, San Antonio, TX Son: Pat and wife Tina Depew, Leavenworth, KS Brother: William and wife Judy Neal, West Leabonon, ME Brother: LeRoy and wife Ruth Neal, Greenleaf, KS Sister: Della and husband Michael Diederich, Greenleaf, KS Sister: Mary and husband Brian Barnell, Lubbock, TX Sister: Betty and husband Leon Gregory, Houston, TX 10 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 23 at 2:00pm at the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Washington, KS. Officiating the service will be Fr. David Metz Burial will be in St. Michaels Cemetery, Kimeo, KS Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 23 from 12:30pm until service time at the church.
