Sandra Reed

SANDRA REED died August 25, 2010 at her residence in Clay Center, KS at the age of 69. She was born on February 19, 1941 in Wadena, IA the daughter of Harold and Thelma (Davis) Hermen. Sandy was raised in Wadena, Iowa and Sterling , CO graduated from Sterling High School in 1959. Sandy married Rolland Reed on January 22, 1961 in Sterling, CO. They made their home in Clay Center, KS. She worked as a bookkeeper for Rolland Reed Contracting, and as a CNA at Medicalodge and the Clay County Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Edward. Survivors include: Husband: Rolland Reed, Clay Center, KS Son: Randy nd wife Denise Reed, Morganville, KS Daughter: Kimberly and husband Glenn Sixbury, Wamego, KS Brother: Dennis and wife Paula Hermen, Fargo, ND Brother: Roger and wife Linda Hermen, Glenmont, NY Sister: Sharon Tipton, Clovis, NM 5 Grandchildren & 2 Step-grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 30, 2010 at 10:30 AM at the United Methodist Church in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Larry Myers. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 2-5 PM Sunday at the funeral home Memorials can be made to the church, Meadowlark Hospice, American Cancer Society or organization of the donor's choice c/o the funeral home
