Sharon Haist

Sharon A. Haist, 65, died January 22, 2015 at Mercy Regional Health Center in Manhattan, KS. She was born on December 25, 1949 in Eureka, KS. The daughter of Phillip and Elsie (Vahsholtz) Welsh. Sharon grew up in Cloud County and graduated from Miltonvale High School. Sharon worked for the Miltonvale Record. She married Gale Fosdick and they later divorced. On March 12, 1991 she married John William Coleman Haist and he preceded her in death on January 31, 2012. She also worked for Medicalodge, Ray's Apple Market and in the trim and paint department at Wardcraft. She was attended the Miltonvale Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Wayne and Warren Welsh. Survivors: Daughter: Stacei and husband Josh Girard, Baxter Springs, KS Daughter: Stefanie and husband Brett Gisselbeck, Clay Center, KS Son: Ronnie and wife Shayna Fosdick, Houston, TX Son: John David Haist, Beloit, KS 6 Grandchildren: Devin Phelps, Aspen Girard, Brenity Fosdick, Asia Fosdick, Journey Fosdick, and Gunner Girard Brother: Paul and wife Gayle Welsh, Clay Center, KS Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 26, 2015 at 2:00PM at the Miltonvale Christian Church in Miltonvale, KS Officiating the service will be Scott Campbell Burial will be in the Miltonvale Cemetery, Miltonvale, KS Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2015 from 2-4 PM atPhelps Funeral Home Memorials may be made to the Sharon Haist Memorial Fund and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
