Sharon Louise Reed

Sharon Louise (Naumann) Reed passed away on January 25, 2021 at Park Villa Nursing Home, Clyde KS, at the age of 72. She was born on May 14, 1948 in Concordia, KS to Homer and Opal Naumann. She graduated from Clifton High School in 1966 and married Richard James Reed on May 6, 1968. They had one son, Terry Duane Reed. They later divorced.

Sharon enjoyed crafting, bingo, collecting key-chains, spending time with family and friends, and getting her nails done. She proudly displayed her American flag and was a member of the Clifton American Legion Auxiliary for 45 years.

Sharon is survived by her son, Terry Reid Nelson, Independence Mo; her father, Homer Naumann, Clifton, KS; sisters, Shirley Marrs, Washington, KS; Kathy (Tom) Klein, Silver Lake, KS; brother, Leroy (Pat) Naumann, Clifton, KS; Granddaughters, Bridgette (Josh) Nelson, Kansas City Mo; Emily Nelson; Great Grandchildren, Lily, Ryan, Mason, Nathaniel; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Opal Naumann.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 5th, at the Vining Cemetery. In memory of Sharon, we encourage everyone to come to her service with bright and sparkly nails.
