Sharon Schumock

SHARON RAE SCHUMOCK died January 28, 2010 at 2300 N. Tyler Road, Wichita, KS at the age of 69. She was born on March 11, 1940 in Hollenberg, Kansas the daughter of Charles V. and Blanche W. (McGinty) Dickson. She was raised in Missouri and moved to Fairbury, NE in 1955. She married Richard Schumock on May 31, 1957 in Fairbury. The couple moved to Clay Center in 1962 and owned and operated Dick's Standard Service Station. The couple moved to Elkhart in 1977 and to Wichita in 1989. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. Survivors include: Husband: Richard Schumock, Wichita, KS Son: Ricky and wife Kathleen Schumock, Wichita, KS Son: Randall Schumock, Abilene, KS Son: Rodney and his wife, Laura Schumock, Wichita, KS Grandchildren: Eight Grand and 4 Great Grand Brother: Darvin Dickson, Atoka, OK Brother: Ronnie Dickson, TN Sister: Winnie Rodgers, CA Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 1, 2010 at 10:30 AM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Paul Tessaro. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on will be held Sunday from 2-5 PM at the funeral home.
