SHARON SUE SCOTT, 74 died September 15, 2014 at Mercy Regional Health Center in Manhattan, KS. She was born on May 10, 1940 in Marysville, KS. The daughter of Max and Mable (Larson) Henderson. Sharon was raised in Barnes and Vining and graduated from Clifton High School. She moved to Denver, CO and married Mel Dykla, they later divorced. She moved to Clay Center in 1968 and married Mick Crawford, they later divorced. Sharon worked as a waitress at various restaurant and volunteered for the Area Agency in Aging. In 1995, she married Howard Scott, he preceded her in death in 2009. Sharon attended the Clay Center Wesleyan Church. She is preceded in death by father Survivors: Mother: Mable Henderson, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Joy and husband Larry Lund, Clay Center, KS Son: Joel Dykla, Sparta, MI Son: Jay and wife Sarah Dykla, Wyoming, MI Son: Jon and wife Barb Dykla, Belding, MI Sister: Shirley Young, Topeka, KS Brother: Roger Henderson, Las Vegas, NV Sister: Karla Hitsman, Clay Center, KS 14 Grandchildren, 5 Great-grandchildren Step-Daughter: Kathy and husband Jim Keeler, Clay Center, KS Step-Daughter: Ginger and husband Tom Johnson, San Diego, CA Step-Daughter: Carla and husband Larry Foster, Chula Vista, CA Step-daughter: Katrina Curry, Manhattan, KS Step-son: Brian and wife Christa Cote, WY Step-son: Phillip and wife Kate Cote, WV Step-son: Larry and wife Nancy Vestal, Chula Vista, CA 19 Step-grandchildren and 26 Step-great-grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 10:30 AM at the Wesleyan Church in Clay Center, KS Officiating the service will be Pastor Rob Stewart Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, KS Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 3-8PM atNeill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home Memorials: Clay Center Library or CCCIF to benefit CCARE Animal Shelter c/o the funeral home
