SHAY LYN WARD died May 29, 2010 at Manhattan, KS at the age of 20. She was born on December 24, 1989 in Clay Center Kansas, the daughter of Donnie and Peggy (Bonar) Ward. Shay was born and raised in Clay Center. She graduated from CCCHS in 2008. She worked as a grocery manager for Kiers Thriftway in Clay Center. Survivors include: Parents: Donnie and Peggy Ward, Clay Center, KS Brother: Ryder Ward, Clay Center, KS Brother: Adam Ward, Manhattan, KS Grandfather: Don Ward, Sr., Phoenix, AZ Grandmother: Joyce Ward, Russellville, AR Half Sister: Mandee Webb, Belleville, KS Half Brother: Jay Ward, Belleville, KS Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 4, 2010 at 1:30 PM at the First Presbyterian Church in Clay Center, Kansas . Officiating the service will be Rev. James Byers. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 3-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home Memorials can be made to Shay Ward Memorial Fund c/o the funeral home
