Sheri Henry

Sheri Henry, 75, of Clay Center, Kansas, died on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Advena Living of Clay Center.  She grew up in Clay Center.  Sheri worked as a clerk for American Express Travel and she spent time in Washington, D. C., San Antonio, Texas and Phoenix, Arizona before moving back to Clay Center in 2012.  She married Richard Henry in 1991 and he preceded her in death of February 2024.   She is also preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie Sarff and sister, Roxy Gilbert.

Sheri is survived by her daughter, Chris Shanks-Hansen and husband, Greg of Plymouth, Minnesota; son, Jeff Shanks of Rifle, Colorado; 2 grandchildren, Kasi Shanks of Loveland, Colorado and Josh Shanks of Rifle, Colorado and 2 sisters, Charlie Sprecker and Tammy Taylor, both of Clay Center, Kansas.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
