Sherry Montgomery

SHERRY MONTGOMERY, 62 died April 28, 2007 at Community Care Inc., Clifton, KS. She was born May 15, 1944 in Vining,KS the daughter of Martin and Martha (Trybom) Pedersen. Sherry graduated from Clifton High School in 1961. She married Raymond Montgomery Sr. on May 27, 1962. They made their home in Salt Lake City, Utah and Clifton, Kansas before moving to Smith Center, Kansas in 1972. Sherry graduated from Cloud County Community College in 1990 with a degree in Nursing Home Administration. She was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Academic Honorary Society. Sherry was a nursing home administrator at Pratt, Harper, Abilene, Kingman, Russell, Kensington and Jamestown during her career. Sherry belonged to the Business and Professional Women's Association and was a member of the Clifton Christian Church. Sherry enjoyed sewing, collecting dolls, flowers and working on her computer. She is preceded by her mother, Martha Walters, father Martin Pedersen and stepfather Lyle Walters. Allysha Montgomery, Adam Montgomery, Kayla Kingsbury,Rhett and wife Laura Kingsbury, Ross Kingsbury, Elizabeth Montgomery, and Anthony Montgomery,all of Smith Center, KS. Joshua Montgomery, Emily Montgomery and Joel Montgomery all of Clayton, NY. Destiny Mayer, Samantha Dove and Tyler Dove, all of Stafford, KS.
