SHIRLEY A. MOSSBURGH died February 1, 2013 at Medicalodge, Clay Center, KS at
the age of 87. She was born on October 23, 1925 in Maceyville, KS the daughter of Owen and
Mary (Wickham) Nelson.
Shirley was raised in Concordia and graduated from Concordia High School. She
married Thomas "Tommy" Mossburgh on April 20, 1946 in Osborne, KS. They made their home in
Clay Center. She worked as a bookkeeper for Key Milling in Clay Center for 20 years and then
for Siebold Motors, retiring in 1985. Tommy preceded her in death on April 30, 1994. Shirley
was a member of St Paul Episcopal Church, VFW Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary
where she was past president. She is also preceded in death by two brothers.

Son: Larry and wife Deniece Mossburgh, Clay Center, KS
Son: Mike and wife Deb Mossburgh, Windsor, CO
4 Grandchildren and 2 Great-grandchildren
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's
Episcopal Church in Clay Center, Kansas .
Officiating the service will be Rev. Susan Sawyer.
Inurnment will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas at a later date.
Visitation will be held on 3-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. The family will greet friends
from 4-6 PM
