Stanley Roberts

STANLEY DELANO ROBERTS died February 6, 2013 at Clay County Medical Center, Clay Center, KS at the age of 76. He was born on March 14, 1936 in Clay County Kansas, the son of Roscoe Roberts and Frances Lippert. Stanley was raised in Clay County and graduated from CCCHS in 1954. He married Ronnie Thurlow on January 1, 1957, they later divorced. He farmed in the Green KS area and operated a custom harvesting operation for many years. He is preceded in death by a son Charles Dean Roberts. Survivors include: Son: Gregory and wife Susan Roberts, Pullman, WA Daughter: Joyce and husband Dave Trumble, Green, KS Son: Jeff Roberts, Onaga, KS 7 Grandchildren and 3 Great-grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 11, 2013 at 10:30 AM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Gale Lund. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, KS. Visitation will be held on 2-5 PM Sunday at the funeral home Memorials can be made to CCCIF -Friends of the Animal Shelter c/o the funeral home
