Stephen Labarge

Stephen Lyn LaBarge was born on December 7, 1952 in Concordia, Kansas to Ronal and Henrietta (Schuetz) LaBarge. He passed away on December 28, 2018 in Salina, KS at the age of 66. Steve was a graduate of Concordia High School. Afterwards he enrolled in Salina Area Vocational School and received his certification in diesel mechanics. He married Earla Jo Brumbaugh September 25, 1976. They made their home in Miltonvale. He worked for Case Tractor, Wardcraft Homes, followed by over 30 dedicated years to USD 334 School District as a custodian. He retired in 2016, but promptly went back to work at the school part time. Steve was a hard worker. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and raising cattle. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his children and grandchildren, who affectionately referred to him as "Bob." Steve was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and attended Miltonvale Wesleyan Church with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandson Caedon and brother Dennis.

Brothers: David LaBarge of Clovis, NM, John LaBarge and Jason LaBarge of Denton, TX
Sister: Janel Jordan, of Clyde, KS
Grandchildren: Gatlin, Harper, Hudson, and Bayler Adams, Corban, Cyrus, and Camara LaBarge, and Nora Labarge.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 AM, May 11, 2019 at the Miltonvale Wesleyan Church in Miltonvale, Kansas.
