THELMA RUTH ANDERSON died September 29, 2008 at Community Care Inc., Clifton, KS at the age of 100. She was born on February 10, 1908 in Clifton, Kansas the daughter of Henry Rundle and Mary Thornton. She was raised in Clifton, KS. She married Claude Anderson on February 28, 1934. They farmed in the Palmer area. They moved back to Clifton after retiring from farming. Claude preceded her in death on December 9, 1990. She was a member of Faith United Church Presbyterian where she served as Deacon. She is also preceded by 2 sons, Neil and Carl and 1 brother, George. Survivors include: Daughter: Claudia and husband Jerry Biery, Clyde, KS Son: Dale and companion Linda Butler Anderson, Concordia, KS Son: Dennis Anderson, Pittsburg, MO Grandchildren: 7 Grand & 11 Great-grand Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 3, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Faith United Church Presbyterian in Clifton, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor FrankLyn Schroeder. Burial will be at the Clifton IOOF Cemetery, Clifton, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 5-8 PM Thursday at Faith United Church Presbyterian Memorials can be made to Faith United Church Presbyterian c/o the funeral home
