Velma Boerger

VELMA MARIE BOERGER died November 3, 2012 at Linn Community Nursing Home, Linn, KS at the age of 93. She was born on January 16, 1919 in Palmer Kansas, the daughter of Herman and Anna Ohlde. Velma made her home in rural Linn, Ks. She married Elmer Boerger on October 23, 1941 and he preceded her on October 11, 1983. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. She is also preceded by a daughter Ann Herrs, 4 brothers and a Grandson, Jeffery Siebold. Survivors include: Daughter: Betty and husband Jerry Siebold, Clay Center, KS Son-In-Law: Jim and wife Dorothy Herrs, Linn, KS Grandchildren: 3 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 9, 2012 at 10:30 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church in Linn Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor David Gruoner. Burial will be at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Linn, Kansas.
