Vernetta Dankenbring, 89 died June 9, 2019 in Linn, KS. She was born on January 27, 1930 in Hollenberg, KS, the daughter of Ephriam and Verna (Luhring) Long. Vernetta was raised on the family farm near Linn. She graduated from Linn High School in 1949 and worked at the Washington County Creamery. She married Robert Dankenbring on November 21, 1952, he preceded her in death on October 15, 2017. Vernetta was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Linn, KS. She is preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, James Breen.

Brother: Delbert Long of Manhattan, KS
6 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren


Funeral Services: Friday, June 14, 2019 at 1:30 PM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home in Clay Center, KS

Burial: St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Linn, KS


Visitation: Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 3-8 PM at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home
