VICTOR J. WALL died October 18, 2009 at His residence, Clay Center, KS at the age of
87. VICTOR J. WALL was born on August 12, 1922 in Mahaska KS, the son of Dr. Victor
Wall and Nellie Peake.
He graduated from high school in 1940 and attended the University of Kansas and played
football. He joined the Army Air Corps during WWII. He married Leah Henderson on October 8,
1944. She survives of the home. He moved to Clay Center in 1946 and worked for L.R. Hoff
Appliances. In 1949 they opened a Culligan Soft Water Service and became owner/operator of
Wall's True Value in 1955. He as a member of the United Methodist Church were he served as a
Sunday school teacher. He was a past president of the Clay Center Rotary Club and was on the
Clay Center Public Utilities Commission. He is preceded by one sister, Mary Ann Drummett.

Sister: Ruth Bell, Lawrence, KS
Grandchildren: 17 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 10:30 AM at the United
Methodist Church in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Larry Myers.
Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 from 3-8pm at the funeal home.

the funeral home.
