VINCENT BILLERA died February 12, 2012 at his residence in Clay Center, KS at the
age of 82. He was born on January 12, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY the son of Frank and Angelina
(Clavaca) Billera.
Vincent was raised in Brooklyn and graduated from high school. He attended the
Brooklyn Academy of Music and played violin for their orchestra. Vincent served in the US
Army, seeing action during the Korean War. Following the war he lived in Fort Salonga, New
York. He married Evelyn Gates on April 17, 1955. He worked for his brother at Accurite Sheet
Metal and later worked at Protex until his retirement. Vincent and Evelyn moved to Clay Center
In 1999. He was amember of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, the American Legion and the
American Legion 48ers. Vincent was preceded in death by a brother, Peter Billera and a son in
law, Greg Blackwood.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 10:30 AM at the SS. Peter and
Paul Catholic Church in Clay Center, Kansas .
Officiating the service will be The Rev. Larry Grennan.
Visitation will be held on 3-6:30 PM Wednesday with rosary at 6:30.
