VIRGINIA ANN GRUBAUGH died February 5, 2013 at Clay County Medical Center, Clay Center, KS at the age of 82. VIRGINIA ANN GRUBAUGH was born on February 3, 1931 in Ft. Worth TX, the daughter of Louis A. Edmonds and Lillie Mae Burnside. Virginia was raised in Oklahoma City, OK and moved to Clay Center in 1962. She worked at the Union State Bank in Clay Center. She married Chester Grubaugh on April 8, 1949 and he survives of the home. She is preceded by a son, Christopher, 1 brother and 3 sisters. She was a member of the St. Paul Episcopal Church. Survivors include: Husband: Chester Grubaugh, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Glenda Lee and husband Patrick Parente, Charlotte, NC Son: John Grubaugh, Kansas City, MO Son: Steve and wife Donna Grubaugh, Topeka, KS 1 Granddaughter, Elizabeth. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, February 8, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Clay Center, Kansas . Officiating the service will be The Rev. Susan Sawyer. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 7, from 3-8pm at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to St. Paul Episcopal Church c/o the funeral home.
