VONA CURTIS, 91 died March 31, 2015 at Presbyterian Manor in Salina, KS. She was born on December 21, 1923 in Clay, County . The daughter of Leon and Isa (Beadleston) Warner. Vona grew up in Clay County and graduated from Longford Rural High School. She attended from normal training and taught country schools. She was a member of the Oak Hill Presbyterian Church, the Rebekah Lodge and E.H.U. She is preceded in death by his parents, a son, Clinton Curtis and a great grandson. Survivors: Son: Dale and wife Cheryl Curtis, Livingston, TX Son: Jerald and wife Trudy Curtis, Union Hill, IL Son: Jim and wife Nancy Curtis, Abilene, KS Son: Brian and wife Janet Curtis, Halstead, KS 11 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren Sister: Leota Morehouse, San Antonio, TX Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 11:00AM at the Oak Hill Presbyterian Church in Oak Hill, KS Officiating the service will be Pastor FrankLyn Schroeder. Burial will be in the Rose Meron Cemetery, Clay County, KS. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from 9:30AM until service time at Oak Hill Presbyterian Church. Memorials may be made to the church and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
