Walter Mugler

WALTER MUGLER, 89 died March 12, 2016 at Presbyterian Manor in Clay Center, KS. He was born on February 10, 1927 in Clay County, KS, the son of Fred and Rosie (Weidner) Mugler. Walter was raised in the Ebenezer community and graduated from Clay County High School in 1945. He married Evelyn Heikes on June 6, 1951. They made their home and farmed in the Ebenezer community. In 1957, they moved to the Athelstane community and farmed until his retirement in 2008. Walter was a member of the Mizpah United Methodist Church, Industry Lions Club and Gideon's International. He served on the Clay County ASCS committee and state committee for Farm Bureau. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Velma Steinbach and sister in law, Marjorie Mugler.
