WENDELL MCCONNELL,92 died August 12, 2007 at the Clay County Medical Center, Clay Center, KS. He was born on November 16, 1914 in Clay County, Kansas, the son of Thomas and Nellie (Stepp) McConnell. He was raised in Clay County. He served in the US Army during WWII. He farmed in Cloud County all of his adult life. He was a member of the American Heretord Assn. He is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Russell and Harlan, and 2 sisters, Lela Dittmar and Elsie Johnson and one niece, Ruth Reichers.
