Bill Tague
Clement William Tague, 85, of Topeka, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, December 7, 2008. He was born on June 10, 1923 in Kansas City, KS, the only son of four children of Lorey and Frances Tague.
Bill and Dorothy Dunn were married in Idana on November 7, 1946, and have been married for 62 years. Bill and Dorothy spent their first married years traveling thru western Kansas connecting farms to rural electricity. Bill spent most of his life working as a master electrician in Manhattan owning his own business. They moved to Topeka in 1993, and have attended Topeka Bible Church. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He loved the Lord with all his heart and enjoyed sharing his love for the Lord with others.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Pearl of Wakefield. Bill is survived by his wife, Dorothy, of the home, a daughter, JoAn Rauckman her husband Bob of Topeka, a son, Ray Tague his wife, Cheryl, of Kenosha, WI; five grandchildren, Cherie Rokke her husband Kris of Sugar Grove, IL, Kristy Rauckman of Topeka, Dave Tague of Niles, MI, Leah Tague of Kenosha, WI, Brett Tague of Kenosha, WI; two great grandchildren Holly Merlock of Gurnee, IL, Aleksander Yde of Kenosha, WI; sisters Margie Brown of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA, Rose Handley of Topeka.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 4:00 pm at Topeka Bible Church and also Friday at 11:00 am at United Methodist Church in Clay Center respect calls will precede the Friday service starting at 10:00. The internment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery Clay Center. Memorial contributions may be given to the Heart of America Hospice, 3715 SW 29th St Ste 20, Topeka, KS 66604.
