Wilma Mercedes Arnold

WILMA MERCEDES ARNOLD died November 13, 2007 at Meadowlark Hills, Manhattan, KS at the age of 90. She was born on June 18, 1917 in Leonardville, Kansas the daughter of Theodore and Sarah Ellen (Middleton) Gepner. She was raised in Clay Center and attended Clay County Community High School. She married Muril Faye Arnold on July 8, 1935. They made their home in Ulysses, KS before moving to Wamego in the late 1970's. They moved to Manhattan, KS in 1990. Muril preceded her in death on September 25, 2004. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Wamego. She is also preceded by 5 brothers. Survivors include: Sister: Judy Larson, Salina, KS Brother: Ted "Junior" Gepner, Kerwin, KS Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 16, 2007 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Baptist Church in Wamego, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Tony Mattia. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas.
