WILMA MCMAHAN died February 21, 2013 at Presbyterian Manor, Clay Center, KS at
the age of 98. She was born on November 26, 1914 in Shawnee County Kansas, the daughter of
William Moore and Ella Jane Callaham.
Wilma was raised in Shawnee County and graduated from Burlingame High School in
1932. She received normal training and taught at Fairview school in rural Pauline, KS. Wilma
married Wilson McMahan on May 18, 1935. They made their home in Topeka until 1947 when
they moved to Clay Center. They co-owned and operated Mail Me Monday Accounting Service
which later became Central Office Service and Supply. Wilma helped start the gift and
merchandising section at Central Office in 1961 and worked there until her retirement in the late
1970's. Wilson preceded her in death on February 3, 1990. She was a member of Hebron
Reformed Presbyterian Church, Gideon Auxiliary, Women's Missionary Fellowship and BPW.
Wilma is also preceded in death by 2 sisters and a great grandchild

Son: Steve and wife Sheryl McMahan, Clay Center, KS
7 Grandchildren, 16 Great-grandchildren 2 Great-great-grandchildren
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 25, 2013 at 10:30 AM at the Hebron
Reformed Presbyterian Church in Clay Center, Kansas.
Officiating the service will be Rev. Ron Graham.
Burial will be at the Hebron Cemetery, Clay County, Kansas.
Visitation will be held on 2-5 PM Sunday at the funeral home
