ANTHONY L. “Tony” FANCELLA died December 10, 2010 at his home in Clay Center, KS at the age of 65. Tony was born on May 23, 1945 in Lutterworth, Warwickshire,
England the son of Anthony Fancella and Maisie Pickering.
Tony grew up in Aultman, PA and El Paso, TX, graduating from El Paso High School.
He joined the U.S. Air Force after high school and served over 20 years as a software and
hardware engineer for the F-15 and F-117 programs. He married Dianne Rodgers on October 25,
1969. After his retirement, Tony worked in civil service as a quality control officer at Holloman
AFB for 11 years. He moved to Clay Center, Kansas in September of 2010. Tony was a boy
scout and girl scout leader and he was also a little league coach. He was preceded in death by his
father.

Grandchildren: 12 Grand and 5 Great Grandchildren
Mother: Maisie Baird, El Paso, TX
Brother: David Baird, El Paso, TX
Sister: Rachel Baird-Fancella, El Paso, TX
Sister: Maisie Duke, El Paso, TX
Sister: Linda Sharp, Clarksburg, PA
Sister: Peggy Shaulis, Clarksburg, PA
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 17, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Kansas Veteran's
Cemetery at Fort Riley in Manhattan, Kansas.
There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Cancer
Institute in care of the funeral home.
